Dr. Helaine Smith holds a D.M.D. from the Boston University School of Dental Medicine and an M.B.A. from Suffolk University. She is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry and is presently working toward her Mastership in the Academy. She has completed the curriculum at Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, and in 2004, became a mentor instructor at the California Center for Advanced Dental Studies (CCADS), specializing in cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Smith is an expert practitioner and a voice in dentistry at many levels. She owns two thriving dental offices—a cosmetic dental spa, which in 2005 was runner-up for the prestigious Roger Levin DDS Cosmetic Practice of the Year Award, and a family dental practice. Both practices are located in the Boston area.

For over ten years, in addition to her busy practice schedules, Dr. Smith has advanced her clinical knowledge and mentored dentists in improving their accounting methods. She was dubbed “the Savvy Dentist” by Forbes magazine for her leadership in advancing social media for dentistry. Dr. Smith provides a unique approach to practice management and professional development for realizing higher revenue and personal advancement in the profession.
